Will Ronaldo leave Arnaser to participate in the Club World Cup?

Football

Cristiano Ronaldo released a mysterious message about his future after FIFA president Gianni Infantino said that he was discussing whether the striker was in the FFC Cup.

Ronaldo currently plays for Saudi professional league club Al Nassr, which failed to qualify for the 32-team tournament that FIFA expanded in the United States this summer. The 40-year-old has expired this summer and needs to be terminated early in order to sign with a club participating in the Club World Cup that begins on June 14.

Cristiano Ronaldo shared post

Ronaldo wrote in his latest post to his 654 million Instagram followers: "This chapter is over. Story? Still in writing. Thanks to everyone.

The post includes a photo of the five-time Golden Globe winner lined up in Al Nassr jersey before the game, which led some to think it was an announcement of his withdrawal.

Lionel Messi will be playing for MLS team International Miami. In an interview last week, Infantino raised the possibility that the two would start to compete again in the United States: "Ronaldo may also play for one of the teams in the Club World Cup. “They are having discussions with some clubs, so if any club is following and interested in hiring Ronaldo to the World Cup…Who knows, who knows.

FIFA opened an additional transfer window between June 1 and June 10 so that the club can sign new players in time for the match.
