May 27th According to the Liverpool Echo, the driver who caused the crash in the Liverpool championship parade was suspected of attempted murder, dangerous driving and drug driving.

It is reported that a serious car crash occurred during the Liverpool championship parade, and a man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. A car rushed into the crowd on Water Street in the city center during Liverpool Football Club Premier League victory parade.

Merseyside Police confirmed that a man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, dangerous driving and drug driving. Just after 6 p.m. local time on Monday, police received a report that a car hit several pedestrians on Water Street in downtown. A large number of emergency service personnel arrived at the scene, including police cars, fire trucks and ambulances. It is understood that the accident caused 50 people to be injured, including one adult and one child.

Liverpool Regional Mayor Steve Rotheram said four people are still in critical condition and are receiving treatment in the hospital. There are still a large number of emergency service personnel on site and the forensic doctor is investigating Water Street. A 53-year-old white man from West Derby has been arrested. Superintendent of the Merseyside Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Superintendent Karen Jondriel confirmed the news at a press conference.
