How is life in Monaco?

(compared to London) This is a good change. It is greener than I thought, very beautiful, and there are natural scenery everywhere. It is also a family-friendly place, perfect for my wife Anna and our young daughter. We stayed in the mountains and the scenery was beautiful and perfect for walking.

You are 31 years old now. How are you physically and competitive?

I really believe that I am in my best form since my football career. Physically, I feel great. As your experience grows, you will feel better and better as a player, and I have made huge progress over the past two or three years. I feel like I'm at the peak of my player career now.

Of course I still have hope, and I really want to return to England.
