Once Barcelona transfer is finally completed, Rashford will face direct problems

Marcus Rashford is about to leave Manchester United to join Barcelona this summer, but the La Liga champion team has not yet completed the registration for him in La Liga.

27-year-old Rashford has been released by Manchester United and is about to realize his dream of joining the Camp Nou. He will initially join on loan, while Barcelona has the option to sign it permanently for £26 million.

Rashford completed his medical examination in Spain on Monday, preparing to complete his second loan at two consecutive transfer windows. He is scheduled to practice with his new teammates for the first time on Tuesday, followed by Barcelona's official franchise conference for him on Wednesday.

However, as of the current circumstances, Barcelona cannot complete registration for Rashford in La Liga. Sky Sports has confirmed this problem, which has been repeatedly seen in Barcelona in recent years due to financial difficulties.

Barcelona is working on solving this problem, which may require them to send some players away through permanent transfers or loans before the new season to obtain a certain amount of income. It is worth noting that Barcelona has agreed to bear Rashford's full salary of £350,000 per week, which is also a key factor in Manchester United's agreement to this loan.

This La Liga champion team is confident of completing the registration work at Rashford. Barcelona's first game in La Liga in the new season is against Real Majorca on August 16.

Rashford played for Aston Villa on loan in the second half of the 2024-25 season. He recovered his form and performed well in this Premier League opponent.

It is reported that Rashford has always been eager to join the Camp Nou, and he also looks forward to becoming the first English player to play for the La Liga giants since Gary Leinkell.

With Rashford basically determined to leave the team, Manchester United will turn their energy to send away four other players who certainly have no future under Ruben Amorin.

Anthony, Alejandro Garnacho, Jaden Sancho and Tyrel Maracia are all traded and are currently training alone. Garnacho has had connections with Chelsea and Naples, and Anthony is reportedly eager to return to Real Betis – he performed well on loan there last season.
