Liverpool and Frankfurt agree on Ekitic transfer
Xinhua News Agency, London, July 21 (Reporter Ma Bangjie) The official website of Liverpool Club announced on the 21st that the Premier League champion club has reached a comprehensive agreement with Frankfurt on the transfer of Ekitic.
Liverpool Club said Ekitic's transfer fee is £69 million, and a £10 million surcharge. The French striker will fly to Liverpool this week for a medical examination and sign a contract.
According to British media reports, Ekitic will sign a six-year contract with Liverpool. If his transfer is successful, Liverpool's recruitment spending will exceed £250 million this summer. Previously, they signed Wilz for £116 million and sold £70 million to buy defenders Kelkez and Flynn.
