On October 24th, Hupu Xundezhuan announced the ranking of the least goals conceded per game by central defender pairs (who played together for at least 50 games) in the history of the Premier League.

Manchester United's Ferdinand& Vidic combination led the way in conceding 0.71 goals per game in 120 joint preliminary games. Arsenal's Keown& Adams combination and Campbell& Toure combination ranked second with an average of 0.73 goals conceded.
