Jokic: It’s great that the team signed Varan, Brown and Hardaway Jr., it’s great to have them

After the game, Nuggets center Nikola Jokic was interviewed on the sidelines and expressed praise for several of the team's new players this season.

"They are great. I have a very, very good backup big man who is very dominant and has been in the league for 15-16 years. And we also have Bruce (Brown), we have won championships together, and he still brings the same energy to every game. Tim (Hardaway) is almost the top shooter in the league and very good." Jokic said.

"So, it's great to have them, and I'm very happy that they are all on our team." Jokic said.

Jokic started the game for 33 minutes, making 16 of 19 shots, 1 of 2 three-pointers, and 2 of 3 free throws. He scored 35 points, 15 rebounds, 7 assists and 2 steals.

Jonas Valanciunas came on as a substitute for 15 minutes, making 3 of 8 shots, 4 of 6 free throws, 10 points, 7 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 block.

Brown played 27 minutes as a substitute, making 5 of 8 shots, 2 of 3 three-pointers, 2 of 2 free throws, 14 points, 7 rebounds, 1 assist and 2 steals.

Hardaway Jr. came on as a substitute for 24 minutes, making 2 of 8 shots and 2 of 6 three-pointers, scoring 6 points, 2 rebounds and 1 assist.
