Signing one: The Knicks signed Charles Allen
As for the Knicks, according to "HoopsHype" reporter Michael Scotto, they will sign Charles Allen as assistant coach.
Allen was previously the Jazz's chief video coordinator and joined the Sacramento Kings coaching staff in 2022. He was promoted to the Kings' player development coach last fall. Allen is the second former Kings assistant coach to reunited with Brown, after Ricardo Foyce joined the Knicks, who is the new head coach of New York.
Signing 2: The Warriors sign new members
Warriors and the Knicks are adding new members to their respective coaching teams.
According to agent Misko Raznatovic, the Golden State Warriors will sign Nikola Milojevic to join the coaching staff, and he played for Serbia's Mega Basketball Club last season.
Signing Three: Pablo Prigioni will continue to stay with the Timberwolves
According to SNY reporter Ian Begley, senior assistant coach Pablo Prigioni decided to stay with the Timberwolves despite being invited by the Knicks.
Bergley said Prigioni, who has been with the Timberwolves since 2019, decided to stay in Minnesota for family reasons.
As a former NBA point guard, Prigioni played for two and a half seasons with the New York Knicks as a player from 2012-2015. After retiring in 2017, he transformed into a coach. In the 2018-19 season, he served on the Brooklyn Nets coaching staff for one season before joining the Timberwolves.
Signing 4: Philip Petrusev signs Dubai team
According to European Basketball Network, Greek team Olympiacos has announced that forward/center Philippe Petrusev has signed with Dubai basketball team.
According to Serbian media Mozart Sports, since Petrusev's contract with Olympiacos was originally scheduled to extend until 2026, Dubai will pay a buyout fee of about 500,000 euros.
Petruschev played 27 European League games for Belgrade Red Star last season, averaging 20.9 minutes per game, contributing 13.5 points and 4.9 rebounds.
Signing 5: Evan Fournier signed a three-year contract extension with Olympiacos
Olympiacos announced on Twitter that former NBA defender Evan Fournier has agreed to sign a three-year contract extension with the team.
Funier returned to Europe last season and performed well after 12 seasons in the NBA. He was selected to the Europa League All-A Second Team with 16.1 points and 2.8 assists per game, and led Olympiacos to the semifinals. In the Greek league, he averaged 9.4 points and 2.3 assists per game, helping the team beat Panathinaikos to win the championship.
Funier played in 704 regular season games in the NBA, including 504 starts, averaging 27.7 minutes per game, scoring 13.6 points, 2.7 rebounds and 2.5 assists.
Signing Six: The Heat Sign Gabe Madson
According to DraftExpress reporter Jon Chepkevic, unselected rookie shooting guard Gabe Madson has agreed to sign an Exhibit 10 contract with the Heat.
Madson has played for the University of Utah for the past four years, and he played in 33 games last season, all starting, averaging 29.7 minutes per game, scoring 15.2 points, 2.6 rebounds and 2.5 assists, shooting percentage, 3-point shooting percentage and free throw shooting percentages were 37.1%, 32.2%, and 85.4%, respectively.
Madson impressed with 22 points and 6 three-pointers in less than 17 minutes of playing time in Las Vegas against the Utah Jazz.
Signing Seven: The Lakers signed four players
Los Angeles Lakers announced on Twitter today that defenders RJ Davis, Augustas Malculionis, as well as forwards Eric Dickson and Arthur Kaluma have officially signed with the team. According to ESPN reporter Dave McMenaming (twitter link), all four players signed Exhibit 10 contracts.
Exhibit 10 contract is a non-guaranteed contract, but contains a bonus clause: a player who is able to play for a team's G League affiliate for at least 60 days after being cut, a bonus of up to $85,300 can be obtained.
Signing Eight: The Clippers signed Teetta Washington Jr.
According to agent Kevin Bradbury to ESPN reporter Shams Charania, the Clippers and free agent guard Teetta Washington Jr. have reached a one-year contract agreement.
23-year-old Washington is the 29th overall pick in the 2022 draft, but has limited roles as a rookie in 31 games for the Rockets. Since entering the league, Washington has played in 58 regular season games, averaging 10.5 minutes per game, scoring 3.3 points, 1.2 assists and 1.1 rebounds, with a shooting percentage of .347/.234/.542. But he has performed much better in the G League, playing 32 games for the Suns’ Weley Valley Suns, averaging 21.7 points and 7.4 assists per game and hit 41.4% from three-pointers last season.
Signing Nine: Jordan Miller will sign a two-way contract with the Clippers, according to reporter Michael Scotto, the Clippers will re-sign Jordan Miller in a two-way contract after laying off Jordan Miller earlier this month.
The 25-year-old small forward is one of the star players in the Las Vegas Summer League, and was selected to the All-Summer League First Team with averaging 22 points, 7.8 rebounds, 53% shooting percentage and 39% from three-pointers.
Miller played 37 games last season, averaging 11.4 minutes per game, scoring 4.1 points and 1.6 rebounds, shooting percentage, 3-point shooting percentage and free throw shooting percentage were 43.3%, 21.1%, and 80.0%, respectively.
According to The Athletic reporter Law Murray, the Clippers will make room for Miller by cutting Patrick Baldwin Jr.
Signing 10: JD Davidson signs with the Rockets
According to EZ Sports Group's agent Cory Markum, to NBA insider Reporter Chris Haynes, JD Davidson cut by the Celtics has reached a signing agreement with the Rockets.
Davidson won G League MVP honors last season for his performance from the Maine Celtics. In a total of 45 games, he averaged 34.6 minutes per game, scoring 25.6 points, 7.7 assists, 5.1 rebounds and 1.4 steals, shooting 48.2% from the field, 33.2% from three-pointers and 76.2% from free throws.
