Candidates for the world s best female track and field athletes announced: Allman, Davis and 5 others selected

October 21st World Athletics recently announced the list of candidates for the 2025 "World's Best Women's Track and Field Athlete": Allman, Davis, Hall, Oli Slags, and Rogers were selected.

Allman (USA): World Championship discus champion, Diamond League annual champion, undefeated throughout the year, accounting for 9 of the top 11 results in the world.

Davis (USA): World Championships long jump champion, undefeated throughout the year, achieving top 3 results in the world.

Hauer (United States): World Championships heptathlon champion. This year he became the second person in history (tied) with 7032 points, and achieved the top three results in the world.

Olise Rags (Australia): World Championships + World Indoor Championships high jump champion, Diamond League annual champion, setting the world's best + Oceania record of 2.04 meters this year.

Rogers (Canada): World Championships hammer throw champion, setting a world best of 80.51 meters (continental record) this year, becoming the second person in history.
