Previously, the AFC officially announced that on October 16th, local time in Riyadh (01:00 on October 17th), the AFC Annual Awards Ceremony will be held at the King Fahd Cultural Center. Wang Shuang, who was nominated for the AFC Female Footballer of the Year, is expected to be elected Miss Asian Football again.
There are three players nominated for Miss Asian Football this time, namely Holly McNamara (Australia), Wang Shuang (China), and Hana Takahashi (Japan).
Miss Asian Football is an annual award established by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) in the late 1990s to recognize the most outstanding female football players in Asia. A total of 4 Chinese players have won the award, including the first winner Sun Wen in 1999, Bai Jie in 2003, Ma Xiaoxu in 2006 and Wang Shuang in 2018.
