Liverpool Club has started formal negotiations with Leverkusen Club on the basis of knowing the players' intentions. It is reported that Leverkusen's estimate of Werz is about 150 million euros. Although Liverpool's latest quotation has increased significantly compared with its first bid, there is still a certain gap in the specific amount and payment structure of the two parties. This offer includes fixed transfer fees and floating bonus terms.

report pointed out that negotiations are still in progress. In addition to transfer fees, the issue of third-party fees allocation involving the Wirtz youth training parent club Cologne needs to be reached by all parties.

If the transaction is finally completed with the current quotation amount, this will break the record for transfer fees for Liverpool Club's history.
