F1 Monaco: Leclerc is the first! Hamilton hits the wall and draws the red flag, Verstappen is the second

Ferrari driver Leclerc continued his strong performance on the previous day and topped the list again with a nearly 0.3 second advantage over Verstappen and McLaren's Norris, while his teammate Hamilton caused the only red flag of the three-training training due to the wall.

Not many drivers came on the stage in the early stage of the three-practice training, because the track was opened to the public the night before, so the road became slippery. Only six drivers completed the timing in the first 15 minutes, but later the stage gradually got on track, and Leclerc and Norris took turns to refresh the lap and temporarily ranked first.

Then Verstappen ran a neutral tire with a 1 minute 11.233 second in the 24th minute. Although he was briefly surpassed by Leclerc, he immediately returned to the first place with his color. After a brief cession, the teams began to experiment with different practices, trying to fully exert the performance of soft tires, but no one could break through the lap speed that Verstappen ran with neutral tires.

Like Russell said he had no choice but to do anything, and the team asked him to try the double cooling circle, and the traffic jam on the field also had a significant impact on the drivers' speeding circle. Verstappen himself could not surpass his neutral tires with soft tires, and was very dissatisfied with the C6-spec tires.

It was not until the last few minutes that Leclerc finally found a way to break through, first ran out of 1 minute 11.179 to win the top spot, and then further broke into the 1 minute 10 second range to ensure the results. Although Norris failed to surpass Verstappen's lap, he was only 0.014 seconds behind, while his teammate Piastri was 0.151 seconds slower than him, ranking fourth. In the process of trying to improve his performance, Hamilton ran into the guardrail on the right side of the Massenet bend and the red flag was interrupted. However, the seven-time world champion still occupied the fifth place through previous efforts.

Albon and Sainz scored sixth and eighth places respectively, and Lawson was interspersed among them. Ranked ninth, the second Red Bull driver, Yuki Kakuda, while Antonelli beat Mercedes-Benz teammate Russell to enter the top ten.
