Chelsea spent nearly 50 million pounds, new player Gittens said he was unbelievable

Premier League giant Chelsea Club officially announced that it will officially sign young winger Jamie Gittens from Bundesliga. The highly anticipated star signed a long contract with the Blues, with the contract term ending until 2032.

It is reported that the deal was reached at the end of last month. Dortmund confirmed the news that Gittens will transfer to Chelsea this Thursday. According to reports, Chelsea paid up to £48.5 million (about £66.2 million) in basic transfer fees for the transfer, and the contract also includes a floating bonus clause of up to £3.5 million (about £4.8 million).

Interestingly, before the official confirmation of joining, Gittens had already appeared on the stadium with the players under new coach Enzo Maresca to celebrate the team's victory over Palmeiras and won the Club World Cup. Now, the club has officially completed all transfer procedures.

Chelsea said in an official statement: "The club is happy to announce the signing of winger Jamie Gittens from Dortmund, and the player signed a contract until 2032."

After completing the transfer, Gittens couldn't hide his excitement: "This feels great. It's an incredible feeling to be able to join a great club like Chelsea." He added, "I can't wait to learn from everyone on the team and give my all here. It's really an incredible feeling."

Currently, Gittens is in the United States with the Chelsea team. Since he previously represented Dortmund in this summer and registered with the team, he will not be eligible to represent Chelsea in the subsequent stages of the current event (FC World Cup).

In view of this situation, Gittens is expected to leave the team for a short rest in the near future, and then return to the team later this month to join new teammates and join pre-season training.
