Real Madrid topped the list with 473.7 million followers (89.4 million on X platform, 175.8 million on Instagram, 129.3 million on Facebook, 61.8 million on TikTok, 17.5 million on YouTube), and Barcelona followed closely with 427.4 million followers (86.6 million on X platform, 141.6 million on Instagram, 120 million on Facebook, 56.8 million on TikTok, 22.3 million on YouTube).

These data ended in June 2025, with Barcelona increasing fans by 12.4% compared to June 2024, while Real Madrid increased by 11%. Other clubs are far behind these two Spanish giants. Manchester United ranks third with 234 million fans, while Paris Saint-Germain ranks fourth with 199 million fans. Among the top ten are four England teams (Manchester City, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal), a German team (Bayern Munich) and an Italian team (Juventus). Among non-European clubs, Brazil's flamenco, Saudi Arabia's Riyadh victory and Egypt's Cairo nationals took the top three. Since June 2024 (excluding YouTube), Santos has seen the largest increase in fans, reaching 82%, undoubtedly thanks to Neymar's joining.
