On July 16, the La Liga giants Real Madrid Club officially announced that the 34-year-old legend Lucas Vazquez left the team freely this summer. Real Madrid will hold an official tribute and farewell ceremony for Vazquez at 1 pm local time on the 17th, when club chairman Florentino will attend.

Real Madrid official sincerely thanked and sincerely wished Vasquez in the announcement, saying that he was a great legend of the club. The club wishes him and his family good luck in the new stage of their life in the future.

Vasquez, born on July 1, 1991, just turned 34 this month. In 2007, Vasquez joined Real Madrid at the age of 16 and has played for the team for 18 years. He has since played for Real Madrid's all-level teams and was promoted from Real Madrid's U19 to Castia in 2014. He made his first appearance for Real Madrid first team in September 2015 after a season loan with Espanyol.

Since then, Vazquez has won a total of 23 championships in his 10 seasons of playing for Real Madrid's first team: 5 Champions League, 5 Club World Cup, 4 European Super Cup, 4 La Liga, 1 Copa del Rey and 4 Spanish Super Cups. In the 2016 Champions League final, it was Vazquez who hit a key penalty in the penalty shootout to help Real Madrid win the championship. Throughout his career, Vazquez has played in 402 games for Real Madrid and scored 38 goals.

After leaving Real Madrid on its own, Vasquez has clearly ruled out the option of playing football in Qatar or Saudi Arabia. He tends to stay in La Liga and Real Betis, coached by former Real Madrid coach Pellegrini, will be Vazquez's hottest next home.
