Hupu reported on October 21 that US media TMZ reported that Lakers fans who had previously claimed that they had lost a large amount of cash after being deceived by LeBron James' "Decision 2" have just withdrawn their lawsuit against James.

TMZ stated that from the documents they obtained, they learned that the fan named Andrew Garcia went to a Los Angeles court on Monday local time to withdraw his small lawsuit against James. This occurred 12 days after Garcia claimed that James owed him $865.66.

Garcia said that when James announced that he would make a major decision on October 7, local time, it seemed to hint at the news of his retirement. So Garcia immediately booked two tickets on the ticket purchase website to watch James' final showdown with his former team, the Cavaliers.

Garcia revealed that the two game tickets cost $432.83 each, but when James later announced that his "Decision 2" was just a drink advertisement, the two tickets lost almost all value.

Garcia wrote in the lawsuit that James owed him a lot for "fraud, deceit and misrepresentation"... But this week, Garcia said an unexpected message from the ticket purchase website made him change his mind.

Garcia said that a representative of the ticket purchase website contacted him to say that they had heard his story and wanted to compensate him with a free Lakers ticket and some souvenirs. Garcia said once he accepted the offer, he decided he no longer wanted anything from James.
