May 10th Heat President Pat Riley talked about Herro at the season summary meeting, and he expressed his hope to spend the rest of his career with the Heat.

Hello's current contract expires in 2027. His salary this season is $29 million, and his next two seasons will be $31 million and $33 million respectively. Starting from October 2 this year, Herro is eligible to sign a three-year, $149.7 million early contract renewal with the Heat. If the two sides do not reach an early renewal agreement before October 21, Hero is eligible to sign a four-year, $206.9 million early renewal contract with the Heat in the next offseason (summer 2026). If Hero is selected into the Best Team in the 2025-26 season, he will be eligible to receive a super maximum salary ($380 million in five years).

This season, Hero was selected as an All-Star for the first time in his career. He played 77 regular season games for the Heat (the Heat lost all the five games that were absent), averaged 23.9 points, 5.2 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 0.9 steals per game in 35.4 minutes, and averaged at least 20 points per game for four consecutive seasons. This season, his shooting percentage is 47.2%, his three-point shooting percentage is 37.5%, and his free throw shooting percentage is 87.8%, of which the number of appearances, playing time, score, assists, steals and shooting percentage are career highs.
