NBA official announces Best of the Week: Alexander Mitchell averages 30+ per game and is elected, Doncic Harden is nominated

On November 25, the NBA officially announced the Western and Eastern Conference Players of the Week for Week 5 of the 2025-26 season (November 18-24). Thunder star Alexander and Cavaliers star Mitchell, who averaged 30+ per game, were selected for the award. Stars such as Doncic, Harden and Jokic were nominated.

Western Conference Best of the Week - Alexander

Eastern Conference Best of the Week - Mitchell

Last week, Mitchell averaged 31.8 points, 5 rebounds, 6.3 assists and 1.3 steals per game, shooting 56.6% from the field, 43.2% from the three-point range, and 43.2% from the free throw line. He shot 81% and led the Cavaliers to a record of 3 wins and 1 loss - 37 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists against the Bucks, 21 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists against the Rockets, 32 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists against the Pacers, and 37 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists against the Clippers.
