On July 16, according to famous reporters Shams and Stein, Mavericks center Levley recently underwent a bone spur cleaning operation for the right foot. Lefly wore walking boots after the surgery, but it is no longer needed. The big man is expected to recover before training camp in September.

Lefley's injury was the same foot as he was injured earlier this year. In January, he was diagnosed with a minor fracture in his foot/ankle, which left him on standby until April, playing in a total of only 36 games in the 2024-25 season.
