Lake Record: Adebayo & Wiggins is suitable for us, but the Lakers cannot provide any assets

May 23rd News Recently, Lake Journal Jovan Buha talked about Adebayo and Wiggins in a show, and he believes that these two are very suitable for the Lakers.

Buha said: "I would love to see Adebayo join the Lakers because he fits the team perfectly on the defensive end and will bring a significant improvement. Although the offensive end is not the typical one the team is looking for, he will be a very valuable addition. But this deal may not be a good deal for Miami because they may get Reeves, who is the same type as All-Star Tyler Herro."

"I think more importantly, the Lakers will not provide any (good) assets, and if you are from Miami's perspective, as I mentioned in the email recently, why do they have Taylor Herro and trade to Reeves? There are some similarities and some differences between them, but overall, they are the same type, Reeves is two years older than Hero and only one year younger than Bam Adebayo." Buha added.

Buha also mentioned that the team needed a wing player, and Wiggins was meeting that requirement. He proposed a possible trading idea, saying: "I think if the Lakers want to fill the tides in the trading market, Wiggins is a player I am very optimistic about, and if they can have the cap space corresponding to their contract, they may achieve this goal."

"For me, any deal, as long as the Lakers can add a rotation player without discarding the team's top six players, I think it's okay to imagine, you, like Vincent, I'm willing to give up on him for the sake of upgrading. Although I haven't heard anything about Wiggins, he's the kind of pursuit that makes sense for them," Buha added.

Last summer, Adebay signed a three-year, 165 million contract renewal contract, with a term of 2029, with a salary of US$37.1 million next season; Wiggins' contract is still two years away from expiration, US$28.22 million next season and US$30.17 million in the 26-27 season.
