Basketball

July 9th News This Friday, the Lakers will face the Mavericks. According to media Bleacher Report, the most expensive side of the game is as high as $2,500, the most expensive in summer league history.

Earlier, Bleacher Report forwarded a message from the ticketing website on its social account, which read: "The summer league tickets for the 'Cooper Flagg vs. Brownie James' game are being sold at an all-time price, with tickets at a low level of $650, while sideline tickets reaching $2,500."

The biggest highlight of this game is undoubtedly the first encounter between the Mavericks No. 1 Flagg and Brownie, but the reasons why the two players have attracted a lot of attention in the summer league are not the same.

As the No. 1 pick in the 2025 NBA Draft, Flag naturally became the focus. He is regarded as one of the most anticipated rookies since Victor Vinban Yama. In the just-concluded college season, Flag averaged 19.2 points, 7.5 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game, and won several personal honors.

Brownny's attention, by contrast, was largely derived from his father, LeBron James. Brownie has represented the Lakers in a summer league game in the California Classic and scored 10 points. He has had highlights in his limited appearances in the NBA and has accumulated a lot of experience in the Development League, playing in a total of 18 games and averaging 18.6 points per game.
