November 23: Former Lakers head coach Byron Scott accepted an interview with EssentiallySports and talked about James' time management issues.
Scott said Redick and LeBron must face up to the cruel effects of time: "They also have to realize that this is his 22nd or 23rd season in the league. You have to make sure he is ready for the first round of the playoffs and obviously control his playing time and so on."
Scott also said that James does not like minute limits or load management. The Lakers also tried in 2019, but James refused after playing only one game. Scott said: "LeBron has to agree and understand (time management); that's the way it is now."
