October 15 News Recently, Clippers team reporter Tomer Azarly published an article analyzing Derrick Jones Jr.’s net efficiency. He believes that the latter has good reasons to start.

Tomer Azarly said that Derrick Jones Jr. has every reason to become the Clippers' fifth starter. Data shows that after Leonard returned from injury last season, these four players (Jones Jr., Leonard, Harden and Zubac) played a total of 27 games for a total of 321 minutes. Their net rating is +22.6, meaning they score 22.6 more points per 100 possessions than their opponents, with an offensive rating of 128.4 and a defensive rating of 105.7.

Among the four-man combination that played at least 320 minutes last season, the Clippers' combination of Harden, Leonard, Jr. Jones and Zubac ranked second in net efficiency, second only to the Memphis Grizzlies' combination of Morant, Jaylen Wells, JJJ and Zach Eddy.
